Warhammer 40,000 is a tabletop battle game set in the nightmare future of the 41st Millennium, where the forces of Humanity fight desperately against countless alien threats. This starter set pits the elite Space Marines against the brutal Orks, giving two players everything they need to begin their battles and learn the game through easy-to-follow guides and introductory scenarios.

The Space Marine force includes 1x Captain with Relic Shield, 1x Librarian, 5x Intercessors, 5x Vanguard Veterans with Jump Packs, and 1x Land Speeder. These genetically enhanced warriors bring superior armour, weapons, and battlefield discipline to the fight. The Captain, Librarian, Vanguard Veterans' Sergeant, and Land Speeder pilots have head options, allowing you to build them with helmets or bare heads. The Land Speeder can also replace its onslaught gatling cannon with a heavy flamer.

The Ork force includes 1x Warboss, 1x Weirdboy, 20x Ork Boyz, 10x Gretchin, and 1x Wartrakk. These brutal, battle-hungry aliens overwhelm their enemies through sheer aggression and numbers. The Ork Boyz and Gretchin feature interchangeable components for varied poses, while the Ork Boyz have interchangeable heads. The Boss Nobs leading the Boyz can also replace their kustom shootas with kombi-shootas or kombi-rockets.

The set includes 15 terrain pieces to create an immersive battlefield, with Manufactorum Ruins, a Shock Array, a Capacitor Stack, Rockcrete Barricades, a Generator Shrine, and Galvanic Pylons. These pieces can be arranged in different configurations to provide cover and objectives, and their push-fit design means they can be assembled without glue. The two foldout game boards feature printed building foundations and measure 762mm by 559mm each when unfolded. Transparent range rulers with 12-inch markings and ten white D6 dice complete the gaming accessories.

The Core Rules booklet introduces the essential rules of Warhammer 40,000, including the battle round, battlefield, and advanced rules, with a reference section for easy access during play. The Starter Set Handbook covers building, painting, and playing with your miniatures, helping new hobbyists get started.

These miniatures require assembly and are supplied unpainted.
