Used Game Consignment

At Knight & Day Games, we're excited to introduce our Used Board Game Consignment Program, a fantastic opportunity for board game enthusiasts to find new homes for their gently used games. Whether you're looking to declutter your collection or discover hidden gems at great prices, our consignment program makes it easy. Bring in your pre-loved board games, and we'll handle the rest—displaying them in-store and connecting them with eager buyers. It's a win-win for everyone: sellers earn store credit or cash, buyers score amazing deals, and the gaming community thrives with fresh additions to their tables.

• We accept new or used board games and RPG books. 
• There’s a limit of 5 items for sale at a time. Exceptions can be made for RPG sets (just ask).
• Within reason, the seller may sell a “set” of items as a single item (such as a game plus expansions, or a set of RPG books). These items will be shrink-wrapped together and presented and sold as a single item.
• The seller must complete a Used Game Submission Form (we encourage you to print and complete ahead of time) for each item sold. You can download this form and bring it in, or we will have copies available at the store. The seller is expected to be honest about the condition of their item. Knight & Day Games staff will review the Submission Form and suggest changes if we deem them appropriate. These forms will be available to view by potential buyers.
• The seller determines a single asking price for the item. Games must have a minimum price of $10. Please mark your sale price in whole dollars if possible (but this is not required). This price will be non-negotiable and  Knight & Day Games will only sell that item at that price. We will not break up item sets. Any sales (discounts) ongoing in the store will not apply to the Used Games section.
• Upon submission, within a reasonable amount of time,  Knight & Day Games staff will prepare the used game for sale. We will attach a Used Game Sale Description Note to the item and shrink wrap the item before shelving. This note includes the asking price of the game and a summary of the Submission Form condition report.
• Once shelved, an item will be given at least 60 days to sell. After that time, Knight & Day Games may ask that the seller take the item back. An unsold item may not be submitted for sale again for at least another 60 days (but no more than twice).
• Upon the sale of an item, the buyer will be given 3 days to return the item if he or she does not agree with the Submission Form condition report. This is the only condition under which we will accept a used game return.
• Three days after the sale (or as soon as possible thereafter), the seller will receive a store credit for 75% of the asking price of the item, as submitted by the seller. Knight & Day Games will process any Nevada Sales Tax associated with the purchase. Members of our Monthly Board Game Library program will receive 80% back in store credit.
• Knight & Day Games has the right to refuse to accept any item due to demand, condition, appropriateness, existing copies already for sale, or any other reason.
• A Used Game is sold on consignment and remains the property of the original owner until such a time as it sells or is removed from circulation.
• For items that do not sell, the seller has 30 days to pick up the item after being notified. After this 30 day period, items are considered abandoned and become the property of Knight & Day Games. Please contact us if you require extra time.
• Knight & Day Games does not purchase used games for resale.
• Knight & Day Games will assume responsibility for the care of the item while in our possession.
• Pro-Tip: Price your items to sell at a fair market price.

Buying Used Games 

Find a game in our consignment section you want to buy and bring it to the counter like any of our new items.  However, there are a couple of differences from our normal exchange/return policy:

• Discounts: We do not discount used games. The price is set by the seller and non-negotiable. 

• Returns: The only accepted reason for return is if the item does not match the seller’s description. RPG books, puzzles, and new in shrink games are NOT returnable once they leaves the store. The buyer has three days to return used items.  Please bring the condition report label and receipt back if you plan to return the item.  If you are concerned that the game will not match the seller’s condition description, you can open it immediately after you buy it and return it without leaving if it doesn’t match.
