Backorder & Pre-order products will be clearly marked in the title of the product. If it doesn't say backorder or pre-order, then it is indeed in-stock and ready to ship.
Why place a Pre-Order?
To secure a copy of an item at an amazing rate.
Why hasn't Knight & Day Games received a Pre-Order and other stores have?
We place very large orders that usually involve pallets. This is one of the ways we can provide such an incredible price on many of your favorite items. This also means the shipment could take a few extra days. Keep in mind, there is no ETA on Pre-Orders.
When will I get my Pre-Order?
Pre-Order delivery dates cannot always be guaranteed. New products typically are received one day in advance of the release date, barring any unforeseen manufacturer, distributor, or carrier delays.
We begin shipping as soon as possible once the pre-orders arrive to us, and delivery usually takes 2-5 business days depending on the shipping destination from Plano, Texas.
Why hasn't my shipment of a Pre-Order item been shipped?
Did you place an order with multiple Pre-Orders? If so, we will ship once everything for that order is in stock.
Can I cancel my Pre-Order?
Pre-Orders may be cancelled within 90 days of the purchase date for full refund to the original payment method. Cancellations after 90 days will have to be refunded as either store credit or a check.
For accounts with excessive amounts of order cancellations may result in future order limitations and restrictions.
Does your favorite TCG have a release date?
We still can't provide an ETA if that shipment isn't received by us on/before release date.
Backorders:
Backorder: When an item was in-stock at one point and it is currently unavailable at our store and warehouse. There is no ETA for any Backorder.
Why place a Backorder?
To secure a copy (or copies) of that item at an amazing rate.
When will your Backorder ship?
When the items are delivered to us.
What happens when you place an order for a Backorder item and an in-stock item?
The order will ship once all items are in-stock. If you don't want this to occur, place separate orders for the in-stock items and the Backorder items.
Can we cancel your Backorder?
No. We use that order information to source how many items we should order for said item.
Can you get a refund on my Backorder?
Only if that item is confirmed to never receive a reprint ever again.
What happens if your Backorder order is over a year old?
The TCG and Board Game Industries reprint whenever they want to. So, it is realistic your item is out of print for a year, or even more. Please keep this in mind when placing an order for an item with a Backorder.
Your payment information is processed securely. We do not store credit card details nor have access to your credit card information.
New Policy As Of August 8, 2024
ALL SALE ITEMS, CLEARANCE ITEMS, AND DISCOUNT CODE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE AND CANNOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED.
Unopened products in NEW condition may be returned to us for store credit within 30 days of receiving the item(s). Buyer pays for all return shipping costs and MUST receive prior written approval before shipping any product back to us.
Local orders can be returned for store credit if the products are unopened and in new condition within 30 days of purchase.
In order to maintain the integrity of our inventory, we do not accept returns of any trading card games (i.e. Pokemon, Digimon, Final Fantasy, Flesh and Blood, Magic, Yugioh, Dragon Ball Super, One Piece, etc.).
If there was an error on our part in which we shipped you the wrong item(s), we will correct that error at our own expense by either shipping you the correct item(s), paying for the return shipping labels of the wrong item(s), providing store credit for the different in amounts paid, or some combination of the above.
If the product you ordered arrived damaged, then YOU will need to make a claim against the shipping provider. You'll need to provide both photos of the damaged product(s) as well as photo of the damaged shipping box to the shipping company, i.e. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc..
When Pre-Orders are placed on our website, we use that information to partner with the specific publishers to acquire the games you purchased. Many of these games are sourced through Kickstarter in partnership with very small publishing companies. The accuracy of the fulfillment dates depends solely on the publisher, and not on Knight & Day Games.

How do I report a damaged item?
Because the games are sourced worldwide, if there is an issue with a missing component you will have to reach out to the specific publisher. If you are having issues reaching the publisher directly, please reach out to us.
