🏆 Tournament Format: Swiss Tournament - 4 rounds. 4 rounds will result in all players participating in 4 matches (unless you are assigned a Bye Round). 5 rounds if more than 32 participants.

• Win = 3 Points
• Tie = 1 Point
• Loss = 0 Points
• At the end of the rounds, the player with the most points wins.

🚨 Each Player MUST bring 3 of their own heroes.🚨

• These heroes will remain the same throughout the tournament.
• See below for a list of allowed heroes. Find the 🎲.
• Bring 3, Ban 1 - Each round between 2 participants will be a single game.
• Time for each round: 30 minutes.
• Ties are allowed each round.

🎒 How to Prepare:

• Plan to arrive 10 minutes early.
• Promo and Mythic cards will not be allowed, so please take the time to remove any Promo and/or Mythic cards from your selected heroes before the tournament.
• Verify you have tournament allowed heroes and updated leaflets (more info below, find the 🎲)
• Ensure that all hero decks include only the standard cards for that hero, matching the number of cards listed on their leaflet. Duplicates of cards will not be allowed.
• Remove Buh, Bye! from character decks.

⏰ Start of the Round

🚨 Each player will roll twice. Once to determine first to ban. Another to determine first player. 🚨

FIRST ROLL - Determine First Participant to Ban ❎

• Each player rolls a die. Highest value wins. 
• Winner of the die roll can: Be first or second player to ban 1 of their opponents 3 characters.

SECOND ROLL - Determine First Player ⭐

• Roll a die, highest value wins.
• Winner of the die roll can:
  • Choose to be first player, and make the first hero choice. OR
  • Have the opponent (the other player) be the first player, and make the hero choice.

🚨 Important Information

• Each participant to keep track of the starting player.
• Once time is called, play continues until both participants have completed an equal number of turns. Then the match ends immediately. (This does not mean each player will get an extra turn at the end of the game).
• Total health remaining of each participant at the end of each round is also recorded (and used the 3rd tie break in the event of a tie in the group stage).
• First player skips income phase.

• Dice Throne Season One: Rerolled Heroes.
• Dice Throne Season One Heroes - The most recent printing removed the word “rerolled” from the box.
• Character List: Barbarian, Moon Elf, Pyromancer, Shadow Thief, Monk, Paladin, Ninja, Treant.

• Dice Throne Season Two Heroes
• 🚨 Required Starting Jan. 1st, 2025: Updated leaflets for Tactician, Huntress and Vampire. Most recent copies of Tactician, Huntress and Vampire are provided with updated leaflet. You can verify your copy /print a copy or order an official copy from the store.
• Character List: Samurai, Gunslinger, Tactician, Huntress, Artificer, Cursed Pirate, Seraph, Vampire.

• Marvel Dice Throne Heroes
• 🚨 Required Starting March 1st, 2025: Thor and Miles Morales: Spider-Man leaflets will be required once fulfillment has been mostly or entirely completed. It is difficult to predict when fulfillment will be completed, but our logistics team suspects most, if not all backers, will receive product by March 1st. Therefore, the updated leaflets for Thor and Miles Morales: Spider-Man will be required in all Organized Play starting March 1st. The updated leaflets are available to print for free from our web store: Updated Thor and Miles Morales: Spider-Man Leaflet. Outdated / Previous Thor and Miles Morales: Spider-Man Leaflets will be required until March 1st to ensure consistency across all players / tournaments.
• Character List: Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Thor, Miles Morales: Spider-Man, Loki, Scarlet Witch, Dr. Strangle, Black Widow.

🚫 Heroes Not Allowed In Tournament Play

• Original print run of Dice Throne Heroes (6 hero box published by Mind Bottling Games or Roxley Games).
• Mythic Cards
• Promo cards (this does not include alternate art cards).
• Dice Throne Adventures content (Bosses,  Cards, etc...)
• Buh, Bye - Instand Action Card

😃 Allowed But Not Required

Judges and Event Organizers may restrict use of these items at their discretion.

• Any playmats you would like to use.
• Any dice tray you would like to use.
• Any dice tower you would like to use.
• Any Age alternate art cards (Example: Age of Destruction alternate pyro board / destruction cards).

🪜 Leaderboards & Rankings

At the conclusion of each ranked tournament, players will accrue points based on their placement on the event's leaderboard. Players ranking on the national / regional leaderboards will be based on their 3 best performances. Players can participate in as many tournaments as they'd like, but only their top 3 performances will be used for the position on the leaderboard.

Promo: everyone will receive 1x of "Not This Time!" AND 1x of "What Status Effects" Alt Art Promo Card

Prizing: 100% store credit payout

• Undefeated/1st Place = 50% of the pot
• 2nd Place = 30% of the pot
• 3rd Place = 20% of the pot

Check-In: Please approach the front desk to check in with an Event Coordinator and properly be entered into the event.

All TCG accessories (sleeves, deck boxes, playmats, backpacks) are 20% off during events! In-person only. ALSO, monthly members get an additional 10% off!

Event Ticket Privilege: This ticket counts as a Day Pass. This ticket allows access to the board game library before and after your event.

This weekly event will fire as long as it meets the minimum player count and prizing will still be allocated appropriately according to what is stated above.

In the situation that an event doesn’t fire due to a minimum player count, you have the choice of a refund as store credit OR use it as a Day Pass to enjoy the board game library and our space.

Parking: Free parking is in the North Parking Garage, it’s indoors too!

Store Credit: Any store credit earned via prizing can be used on product purchases including pre-orders. Please email all store credit inquiries to Rey, the event manager, at rey@knightanddaygames.com.
